Q. Do you run workshops?
A. Not at the moment.
Q. Do you allow childrens workshops?
A. No, this would require specific legal requirements. The only time children are allowed in the studio is if parents visiting the area wish to hire the space to accompany their children for spending some quality creative time together. £15 per family of four for 2 hours, £5 per hour thereafter if longer session required. Includes basic childrens paints and drawing materials, plastic scissors, paper and glue plus drinks and use of bathroom facilities in the cottage. Plus I can offer ideas and advice if needed. If you require me to tutor the full session and run creative projects with parents present, the fee will be £15 per hour.
Q. What about health and safety?
A. The studio has two glazed doors for entry and exit. It is one open space with no complicated areas or obstacles for a quick escape. Smoking is forbidden inside and outside.
There are two wooden deck steps into the studio, so care needs to be taken on entering and exiting.
I have a basic medical kit for small cuts and bruises. Obviously, any creative projects involving sharp objects needs care.
Unfortunately, the art studio is unable to facilitate wheelchairs with the high step level.
I will be glad to help with any further questions. You can email or PM me on Facebook.
